This hands-on, two-part class is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of mosaic art. In the first four-hour session, students will learn how to cut, shape, and lay out glass pieces, then adhere them to a base. These essential steps take time, and this session offers plenty of it for thoughtful design and careful technique. During the second two-hour session, students will grout and clean their finished piece, learning proper technique and timing for a polished final result.
This format supports both the artistic and technical aspects of mosaics, offering a solid foundation in basic skills and craftsmanship.
