Foci MCGA Partnerships

Foci MCGA is the access point for anyone interested in glass arts education and experiences in Minnesota. With accessibility in mind, we offer programming to support interested youth and adults in accessing glass art education. This can take the shape of camps, school field trips, off-site workshops, interpreted events, private classes, and workshops for educators.

We foster ongoing partnership relationships with Deaf Cultural Arts and Wellness, Avivo, serving adults with disabilities, Journeys Secondary School, serving youth with disabilities, Great River Regional Libraries, Edina Community Education, and Project for Pride in Living (PPL).

Since 2021, Foci MCGA and PPL’s LEAP (Learn and Earn to Achieve Potential) program, have worked together to provide exposure experiences, introductory to advanced level classes in glass art and production, and apprenticeship opportunities. For deeply invested youth, we also offer pathway support, helping them develop their artistic voice and career preparedness at Foci MCGA and at other glass art education centers across the country.

Are you an organization with participants that want to experience glass? Reach out to our Glass Arts Education & Partnerships Manager at kagen.dunn@mnglassart.org to learn more!
