Open Studio: Kilnforming - November 8, 2025

Unlock your creativity during the Open Studio: Kilnforming session—an opportunity to access our kilnforming studio and work on personal projects in a supportive, flexible environment.

Each Open Studio features a highlighted technique to inspire your making, and this session focuses on Designing Your Own Sheet Glass. Using a palette of glass frit, powder, and stringers, you’ll learn how to compose and create your own unique sheets of art glass. These custom sheets can later be used in stained glass, fusing, or slumping projects to add a personalized touch to your work.

Participation in the highlighted technique is encouraged but not required—you are welcome to pursue your own creative direction. An experienced instructor will be on hand to answer questions, offer guidance, and provide tips to help you bring your ideas to life.

This all inclusive fee covers studio rental, materials, glass, and the mentor’s time.

Prerequisite: Completed Kilnforming 1 or have taken a Kilnforming Glass Discovery.
