Light up your space with a glass neon squiggle shaped with your own hands!
An experienced instructor will explain the safety, equipment, and tools used to create glass neon art. Participants will have the neon process demonstrated and explained to them, and then one at a time will be coached through the steps of creating a colorful, light-up neon “squiggle” of their own! Color options include either red, blue, or purple. This hands-on process will include learning about how artists use neon, how to shape glass in a flame, and how processing can add color and gas to a piece. Our instructor will adapt to each participant’s level of comfort in the studio space to ensure a wonderful experience. After processing, the neon piece will be wired and ready to plug in at home upon pickup.
3 hour duration. No experience required and all materials are provided. Each participant will create one functional unit.
