Students will create a 7" x 7" copper foil stained glass panel featuring a hand-painted focal tile. Using a vinyl resist technique, participants will apply a pattern to a 5" x 5" piece of glass and coat the surface with low-fire enamel paint. Once the vinyl is removed, the painted glass will be kiln-fired to create a permanent, bold design. The finished tile will then be incorporated as the centerpiece of the larger copper foil panel.
Prerequisite: Completed Intro to Stained Glass or have taken a Stained Glass Discovery experience. Students must be 14 years old and up to attend.
