In this introductory course, participants will learn how to create a leaded, stained glass panel. Students will learn about selecting, cutting, and grinding glass following a provided pattern of their choice. After which, we’ll move onto assembling the panel using lead came, soldering the joints, and applying a waterproofing putty. Finished projects can become sun catchers or small framed windows for display.
No experience required. All materials and tools provided.
4-week course, 12 hours of class time total. Offered quarterly.
Working outside of class time is not required, but recommended.
