Beadmaking Tech Sessions are 3-hour classes focused on a specific technique or skill that helps students advance their beadmaking abilities. These are structured lessons—not Open Torch sessions—designed for students who are ready to actively practice and build on skills introduced in previous classes.
Dots are a foundational decorative technique and form the basis for other more advanced techniques. Students will learn/practice applying dots to beads.Skills include dot placement, dot pattern development, pulling simple stringers, masking, and heat control for stacked and flush dots. This course works with soft glass COE104.
Prerequisite: Students must already be able to make basic bead shapes without assistance. Prerequisite classes include Beadmaking Glass Discovery experience, Intro to Beadmaking, or equivalent experience. Open to ages 14 and up.
$90/person. All materials are provided.
One day Tech Session, 3 hours of class time total.
