Art & Entrepreneurship: Artist Talk and Q & A with Hennepin Made Co-Founder Jackson Schwartz

Thursday April 9th, 2026 from 6:00pm-7:00pm

Join Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts in the Red Eye Theater space (in the same building as Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts at 2213 Snelling Ave, Minneapolis) for an evening with Jackson Schwartz, co-founder of Hennepin Made.

Jackson will share his journey from glass arts education to building a glass lighting company with more than 40 team members. Drawing on 20 years of experience working with glass, he’ll highlight key moments, lessons, and the ingredients that helped shape a sustainable creative career. He’ll also introduce a practical framework artists can use to begin building their own paths forward.

Hennepin Made is an artisan glass lighting brand, established in 2011 in Northeast Minneapolis, driven by the desire to build something more sustainable and transformative than the makers before. A community of artists and glassblowers committed to ancient craft and modern design. What they make is light.
