What: Hands-On Stained Glass Activity with Foci MCGA at Twin Cities Maker Fest 2026
When: September 12th, 2026 10am - 5pm
Where: Corner of 31st Ave S and E 26th St
Foci MCGA will be offering a free, hands-on stained glass activity at our booth during the event. Visitors are welcome to melt (lead-free) solder and jump rings onto a pre-copper foiled glass pendant using a soldering iron with the help of our staff. Cord/necklaces will be provided. This complimentary experience takes approximately 10 minutes and you will walk away with a completed stained glass pendant. Offered while supplies last!
Introducing the third annual Twin Cities Maker Fest, a day-long celebration of making, art, and creativity across the metro region! This year, TCMF will be a free street fair on 31st Ave S and E 26th St in South Minneapolis, with free art and craft activities, demonstrations, food trucks, performances, and a makers’ market including 150 local artists and craftspeople. Spend the day exploring Minneapolis’ biggest block party of small makers and seasoned artists alike!
Free admission, and open to all ages.
Getting to Twin Cities Maker Fest 2026:
Twin Cities Maker Fest will be right along the border of Longfellow and Seward in Minneapolis. As it’s primarily in a residential area, street parking is likely to fill up quickly! Here are a couple other options for arrival:
Greenway: TCMF falls right under the Greenway. Turn at the 30th or 34th Ave exits to find us.
