Ornament Glassblowing Social

Create your blown glass ornament by collecting color onto the surface of molten glass and shaping it while sitting at the glassblower’s bench. An instructor will explain the safety, equipment, and tools while guiding you through the process.

Pricing varies by group size and is organized into specific categories.

Availability is determined by our class schedule:

  • Most open times: Tuesday–Friday afternoons and Friday evenings

  • Occasional availability: Weekday evenings and weekends

We recommend submitting requests at least 60 days in advance for weekday groups and 90 days in advance for weekends or large parties (over 25 participants).

Groups may only select one project type for their group, we cannot accommodate mixing and matching different glass objects for your experience.

The studio is closed late August through early September for participation in the Minnesota State Fair demonstrations and gallery sales.

Please note: Glassblowing is a hot activity, especially during summer. If you are sensitive to heat, consider scheduling your experience in spring, fall, or winter.

6-10 Participants

Price: $95/participant + $150 administration fee

Duration: 2-3 hours depending on final headcount

11- 15 Participants

Price: $95/participant + $150 administration fee + $200 additional instructor fee

Duration: 3 hours

16-24 Participants

Price: $95/participant + $200 administration fee + $400 additional instructor fee

Duration: 3 hours
