Local artist Sushila Anderson creates stained glass panels and fused glass jewelry

Sushila Anderson’s passion for creating art started at a young age. Her love of fused and stained glass started during her college years at St. Cloud State University. This love turned into a business in 2008 and is now named Dynamic Glass Design. Sushila currently has over 10 years of glass experience creating limited edition fused glass pendants and necklaces. Her business also includes creating custom-made installation pieces for her businesses, and offices and homes. In all of her glasswork, her artistic expression integrates bold colors and dynamic visual movements. These movements are based on interpretations of nature and a contemporary take on art nouveau.

Dynamic Glass Design’s highlights have been showcasing stained glass panels at the Minnesota State Fair and Glass Endeavors Annual Art Show. Last year Sushila was also able to start selling her fused glass jewelry in the Minnesota State Fair through Foci MCGA’s booth, and has since continued selling at the Foci MCGA. Her stained glass artwork is also available to purchase through Minnesota Makers retail stores located in Robbinsdale, MN and Minneapolis, MN. Sushila continues to be recognized and will continue evolving by taking traditional stained glass and bringing it into new light by making it contemporary.
