Spring in the Gallery

Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts’ Marketplace Gallery is ready for Spring featuring new work from artists Dante Germain, Steve Claypatch, Lynn Bierbaum, Erik Burt, & more! We are also thrilled to have received some glassy goods from Blown Away contestants MiNHi England and John Sharvin while they were in town for Foci MCGA’s Grand Uffda Annual Fundraiser this past February.

Be sure to mark you calendars for our upcoming annual Mother Day Special in the Gallery where customers who spend $50 or more in the Gallery receive a 1 free “Foci Made” pulled glass flower. The Mother’s Day Special runs from April 25-May 10, 2026. Foci MCGA is also partnering with Doors Open Minneapolis to host special activities in our studio Mother’s Day Weekend. Current Exhibition: Streptomyces by MiNHi England

The Solo Exhibition Streptomyces by MiNHi England, Netflix Blown Away Series 3 Finalist, explores the paradox of Streptomyces bacteria as a metaphor for grief. Through material transformations represented in glass, MiNHi’s artwork reflects how loss, illness, and love can metabolize decay into survival. The exhibition is on view March 6-May 9, 2026 at Foci MCGA. This event is supported by grant funding from the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass
