MN State Fair Gallery Submissions

Every year Foci MCGA’s State Fair Gallery booth showcases glass art made from artists across the region during this 12 day event. It is great opportunity to share with and sell your work to the thousands of fair goers. Artwork submissions opens June 15th.

Important dates:

  • Artwork Inventory Submission & Appointment Scheduling: June 15th - July 25th

  • Final Date to submit or revise Artwork Inventory: July 25th 

  • Final Date to submit request to remove artwork from studio gallery location: July 25th

  • Early Studio Artwork Drop Off Appointments: July 1st- August 6th

  • State Fair Artwork Drop Off Appointments: August 15th-16th 

  • MN State Fair: August 21th-September 1st

  • State Fair Artwork Pick Up: September 2nd 

  • Studio Artwork Pick Up: September 9th - 30th (prior notice must be given by August 17th)

 

Retail Glass Marketplace

 

The Foci MCGA Galleries support our mission of gathering people to explore the creative potential of glass. Divided into two models, the Marketplace Gallery and the Exhibition Gallery provide a venue for sales and exhibitions for established and emerging glass artists. Both galleries serve to raise awareness of the use of glass as an art medium by educating the membership, students, collectors, and the public as to the sculptural, design, and installation possibilities with glass. The Marketplace Gallery is intended for the sale of low to mid-priced glass items including housewares and gifts, functional items and sculptural objects, and jewelry.

Current artists email gallery@mnglassart.org to schedule an appointment for artwork review. Artwork dropped off without an appointment will not be accepted.

New artists interested in selling work through the Marketplace should email gallery@mnglassart.org to inquire. Include a brief artist bio and artwork description, 3-5 images of your work, and links to your website or social media handles.
