Nonprofit Status

Foci Minnesota Center for Glass Arts (Foci MCGA) is organized under the Minnesota Nonprofit Corporation Act, Chapter 317A. We are a nonprofit Charitable and Educational Services Organization within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code and any other applicable section or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. No part of its net earnings will benefit any member, trustee, officer or any other private person, except that the corporation shall be authorized and empowered to pay reasonable compensation to individuals, companies or organizations for services rendered. The organization will not engage in any activity that is ordinarily carried on for profit.
