Our 2019 Annual Member Meeting and Board Election will be held Thursday, November 14th at 6:00-8:00 pm at Foci MCGA. All current members are invited to attend. The board of directors will update the members on our past year and our 2020 plans. We would also like to thank our hardworking volunteers and donors that evening with a special presentation. Foci will provide some snacks and drinks but please bring something to share.
There is one seat open for election. In order to be included on the official ballot, board candidates must submit their application materials to the board president by Friday, November 8th at 10:00 pm. Board appointments will be made in December. We are looking for people willing to serve a minimum of 10 hours a month, in addition to a monthly board meeting.
We are particularly looking for board members willing to serve as our ambassadors to the Minnesota community, with experience in fundraising. Knowledge of glass or art making is not a requirement. If you are interested in the 2020 board of directors or would like to recommend someone, please contact the president at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All current members may cast a ballot in person at the Annual Member Meeting or you may vote by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots will be available from the front desk of Foci MCGA starting Saturday, November 9th. All votes must be cast by 7:00pm, Thursday, November 14th. Votes will then be counted and the results announced.
